The Graduate Enhancement Modules Menu will help you determine which professional development modules are best for you based on your progress in the graduate program.

How do I use the GEMS menu?

1. determine where you are in your program. Early, middle, and late will be based on the estimated length of your program (i.e. a PhD program may be six years, in which case the third and fourth year will be considered middle, etc.)

2. find the type of development you are interested in (Graduate Life, Teaching, Reasearch, or Career)

3. click on the selected gem, the recommended courses will be shown.

4. To register for the module, follow the directions given in the description.

Although GEM recommends modules at certain periods of your program, you may take modules at any time.
