International Students

Students who come from another country to study for a post-baccalaureate degree or certificate at TCU have some special requirements. You will see some additional questions on the application just for international students that help us meet our obligations for you. The Office of International Services which is part of the Student Affairs Division at TCU will help you understand and meet other responsibilities.

Two important requirements are:

1. You must be enrolled in the TCU student health insurance.
2. You must carefully monitor your obligations for work while in the United States.  Most students will be permitted to have an assistantship for 20 hours/week.   International Services can help you understand your limits. Consult them before accepting any and all appointments.
