Professional Development Contest – 2017-18

Professional Development is an integral part of graduate education at TCU. As a grad student, you can access helpful resources, on and off campus, and can attend special events to improve your teaching, communication, and professional marketability.

Attend Events

Attend at least 10 hours of professional development events this academic year (Aug. 2017 РMay 2018) to earn a free coffee mug. Which events count? Look for pre-approved events promoted on the TCU Grad Studies website and Facebook page.

Check Your Progress

Throughout the semester, email or Facebook message TCU Grad Studies with the name of the event you attended, the time commitment, and your home department. Participants’ names and departments will be posted on the leader board below.

Win the Grand Prize

Do the most hours of professional development out of all participants this semester and win a $250 gift card to Talbots or Jos. A. Bank. In the event of a tie, the winner will be randomly selected. Stock up on professional attire to impress interviewers!
